PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE TO BIDDERS – INVITATION TO BID HEADWORKS AND SEPTAGE RECEIVING FACILITY The Town of Ashland will receive separate sealed Bids for the construction of a new Headworks & Septage Receiving Facility at the Town of Ashland, New Hampshire Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF). A pre-fabricated metal building has been pre-purchased and will be erected by the manufacturer under the direction of the General Contractor. Septage, screening and grit removal equipment have also been pre-purchased for installation and testing by the General Contractor. The Work includes demolition, construction of concrete channels and building foundation, electrical work, HVAC, site work, controls and all materials, equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work. Bids will be received by the Town of Ashland at 6 Collins St, Ashland, NH 03217 Attention: David Toth, until 2:00 PM local time on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Contract Documents may be examined, and copies may be obtained at the “Issuing Office,” Woodard & Curran, 41 Hutchins Drive, Portland, Maine 04102 starting on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Paper copies of the Contract Documents are available at the Issuing Office location for a non-refundable fee of $175.00. An additional non-refundable fee of $25.00 must be included if shipping is desired. Shipping shall be by Federal Express. An electronic copy of the Contract Documents is also available from the Issuing Office for no charge.
